God was dealing with me about His people who are burdened with guilt and shame and the pain of failure in their lives. I began to hear thoughts asking God is there still hope for me? How can you keep putting up with me after all these years I have been screwing up? I was hearing, I have made such a mess of my life, and note these people seemed on the outside to have their stuff together. They seem strong to others, stoic, they speak of the Power of God, and His delivering power, that God is a provider, and that Jesus saves to the uttermost. And yet on the inside they are scared, and scarred. They carry many hurts, mostly disappointments from their own mistakes, and bad decisions. They are attacked day and night about those mistakes, some very grave, affecting many lives, some to this very day. The guilt of those mistakes is ever present with them.
