Top 5 Homeschooling Podcasts in Apple Podcasts – WHS 211 - The Wired Homeschool

July 12, 2017

There is a growing number of homeschooling podcasts in Apple Podcasts (also known as iTunes) and they cover a variety of topics from the sacred to the secular.
In this episode of The Wired Homeschool I’m reviewing the highest-ranked homeschooling podcasts found in Apple Podcasts (iTunes) in the K-12 category.
I’ve listened to the latest episode of each podcast for five minutes. Why only five minutes? Two reasons: 1.) I don’t have 6+ hours to listen to homeschooling podcasts and 2.) the first five minutes is the amount of time I give to a new podcast before I decide to skip it or subscribe.
I’ll be rating each podcast on the following criteria: quality, content, host personality, and relevance.
Top 5 Homeschooling Podcasts in iTunes
I opened up iTunes on my computer and navigated to the K-12 section in the podcasts directory. From there I clicked on the top podcasts and went down the list. These are the first 5 homeschooling podcasts produced by different hosts or companies that appear on the list as of 7/12/2017.
I’ve listed my overall score (out of 20 total points) here in the show notes but you’ll need to listen to the podcast to get the details of the ranking.
