Episode 47: Quiet Company (Part 2 of 2)

August 15, 2012

This week's podcast is the final part of my two-part interview with Austin's Quiet Company. The band, who are set to hit the Austin City Limits (ACL) stage in October answer the rest of their fan questions, discuss how changing theological views influenced their latest album and play some weird bamboo instrument. Oh, and there's a cat.

I was lucky enough to be onstage with the band while they joined fellow local ACL performers, The Eastern Sea and Wild Child at the final Blues On The Green last week in an ACL preview.

Here are some of the photos I snapped from the stage at Zilker park where the band played to around 10,000 screaming fans. You can check out some more on our Facebook page.

If you were out at Zilker and snapped any pics of the band, share them on vivogig, get your peeps (that's the first time I've written that word) to vote and the photo with the most votes come Friday will win a pair of tickets to their exclusive, invite-only taping at the Do512 lounge

As always, this podcast episode is brought to you by Do512.
