Episode 46: Quiet Company (Part I)

August 08, 2012

Our good friends and sharp dressers Quiet Company made their triumphant return to our podcast. The guys were so illuminating this time around, that the interview is split into two podcasts, so stay tuned for Episode 47. You'll get a double fix of the guys, as they are headlining Blues on the Green tonight.

The past year-and-a-half has seen the release of a new album, We Are All Where We Belong, a shit ton of Austin Music Awards and booking ACL. As you may already know, the guys were our very first podcast guests and we've been patiently anticipating their return.

The guys answered your very serious questions (favorite pony?) and chatted us up about a variety of things, including booking ACL. Take a listen to hear Taylor Muse and company discuss how Cody being named the fifth best trombone player is a pretty big deal, as is being runner-up to Gary Clark Jr., their feud with The Bright Light Social Hour and how they plan to cook breakfast for 250 people at ACL.

Also, don't miss another classic debate, this time around: slow, standard-issue zombies vs. Twilightesque vampires.

Check out Quiet Company tonight at Blues on the Green tonight and don't miss them at ACL, Saturday Oct. 13 at 11:15 a.m.

Be sure to upload your photos of Quiet Company and any other band to vivogig.

And if you haven't seen it, check out their Dubstep remix featuring "Tuxedoman"
