Travel Today with Peter Greenberg--Seatrade Cruise Global Conference

March 30, 2016

This week, the Travel Today with Peter Greenberg comes from Fort Lauderdale and the site of the huge Seatrade Cruise Global Conference, the annual gathering of the cruise line industry.

Arnold Donald, President of Carnival Cruise Line, joins me to discuss the challenges of running the world's largest cruise line in the wake of global travel fears. He'll also talk about planning for the future and will provide a report on the number of new ships being built. Carolyn Spencer Brown, Editor-in-Chief of Cruise Critic, discusses some of the new luxury yacht products and innovations in cruising. Tara Russell, President of Fathom & Global Impact Lead of Carnival Corporation, talks about the new Fathom brand and how the line is incorporating voluntourism"and how their ship will be the first to cruise into Cuba on May 1st. Anne Kalosh, U.S. Editor for Seatrade Cruise News, reports on the number of new ships that are being built, and the work to refurbish older ships rather than retire them.

There's all that and more as Travel Todwy with Peter Greenberg comes from the Seatrade Cruise Global Conference in Fort Lauderdale.
