Apple introduced the world to Apps in 2008. Since then, Apps have evolved and become a part of our every day lives. there are billions of Apps that are available for people to download, ranging from games to personal virtual assistance.

The Guru of Geek’s list of 2008 debuts that made the grade are:

* Apple’s App Store.* T-Mobile introduced the first Android phone (The HTC Dream).* Google previewed the Chrome browser.* Twitter* Microsoft Windows 7 was announced.* Hulu* Amazon Kindle

It’s hard to imagine our life functioning without the use of Apps. A decade equals 10 years. What does that say about us as a society or individuals? Have we become so dependent on technology that functioning without would be impossible?
