According to Lao Tzu in the 30th Chapter of the Tao Te Ching, force always causes resistance – PERIOD. NO EXCEPTIONS! When I resist a thought it grows. When I resist being angry that resistance gives the anger more energy. When I force my will on another, there is always resistance which results in thorny relations. How do we identify force in our life and what can we do about it?
