The Stevie G. Success Show Notes
Episode SGS-0026 – Pujan Patel – The Time of Your Life
Welcome to Episode 26 of The Stevie G. Success Show, the #1 Personal Achievement Podcast where we bring you guest interviews designed to help you live more, play more, and rock the world. Today’s guest Pujan Patel is as inspiring as he is effective at what he is able to do with something we all have equal amounts of but most of us do not know what to make of it, or how to use it…and that is TIME! But this is not a study on time management, which I think is a misleading term as you cannot manage time any more than you can manage the wind. But you can certainly focus it where it needs to go to achieve your desires.
But first I want to thank you for investing your time with us today by listening to this show and for sharing it with those whom you love, care about, and want to see thrive. We recently had the countries of Italy, Austria and Australia appear in our analytics which means listeners in those countries are no enjoying the show along with you. It is exciting to see the show grow domestically and internationally as it means we are on our way to reach the world with our message. So thank you, thank you, thank you, and feel free to join us on Facebook and Twitter by locating StevieGSuccess where we can interact. Now…let’s get down to business!
I recently recorded and will soon release a 2 CD audio recording of my popular program, "How to Live a Remarkable Life." As we wait for it to publish, you can actually get free access by going to steviegsuccess.com and subscribing to our page, and you will be have access to this 2 hr recording that you can listen to and enjoy at any time.
Years ago popular American composer Hal David and Burt Bacharach wrote a song titled “What the World Needs Now.” It’s a song about Love and how the world needs more of it. It has been recorded by numerous popular artists over the years, and its message holds as true today as it did back then.  The world does need love still, and one of the ways that you can express your love, is by being generous with your time and money.
Some people have more money than others, and if this is you, there are a number of ways that you can use your resources to ease problems and create more value in the lives of those around you. Over the years, I have had people tell me “if I give my money away, I will have less and I worked too hard and too long to get it.” I believe that you may have worked hard and long for your money, most of us do. And if you have made a lot of money by working hard and applying yourself, you are to be congratulated. However, let me ask a question here…why do you think that you were blessed, or given the opportunity to create so much wealth (and I understand that is a relative term when I refer to “wealth)? Why were you selected out of all of your family members, out of all of your friends, out of all of your neighbors to make more money than others? You might say, but I was not selected, and I say yes, you were.
The reason you were selected is because you are being tested. Will he be a good steward of the money? Will she use her earnings for the betterment of her family, community, and world around her? Or will he hoard the money, keep it for himself and use it only to but things that will give him pleasure. Now, I am not suggesting that you should not reward yourself and acquire the things you have always dreamed of with your money. Of course, you have every right to do so and the beauty of it is that you get to decide that for yourself. You get to decide how much is enough, or how much is too much.
You see, money is a resource. It has no intrinsic value. Its only value is what we as a collective society determines it is worth. And just like any other resource, if you put it to good use, you will generate more of it. There is a universal law that is at work here, and that is the law of giving and receiving.
