Does he really deserve all of the shit people give him?
Due to his actions in the American Revolution, Benedict Arnold has earned the title of chief traitor. Though there were certainly others who acted as treacherously if not more, he is by far the most well known. However, in honor of Independence Day, we take a look at his life and actions to find out if our memories of him and his classification as the embodiment of mistrust are truly deserved or if he should ultimately be forgiven of his crimes and restored to a place of respect.
