What, if anything, do we owe the descendants of slaves?
There have been several arguments made regarding reparations. Some have claimed that descendants of slave owners should be required to pay reparations to descendants of slaves based on the idea that an aggression was enacted on one group by another. Some have gone so far as to claim that all “white” Americans should be required to pay reparations to all “black” Americans by the nature of “white” people having innate privilege by the color of their skin. With that, the Six Pack Team takes a look at the arguments and merits of why people should or should not be paid for the suffering of themselves or their ancestors.
