What's going on with children today? Do children today feel they no longer have anyone they can look up to and respect? Are they angry with the world thinking that adults are all hypocrites and we are missing the mark? Are we too tough or too soft on our children today? So many teenagers are running around angry, depressed and confused while carrying this weight on their shoulders. Are children not receiving the attention or answers their silently crying out for? Young adults seem to have little respect for their elders, parents and themselves. Is this disrespect the cause of little to no attention on our part? Regardless of the cause we are experiencing the effects. So the question is “What's going on with our children today? What can we do to help nurture and heal our children in today's society? This was a topic many parents asked me to discuss, so please join me along with your young adults for this much needed dialog.
