The Sales Manager
The sales manager.  I gave this podcast episode of Sales Management Workshop a simple title.  The sales manager.  The person responsible for building and leading a team of people that generate revenue.  Revenue that not only meets, but exceeds the assigned numbers or quota.  In this, the 20th episode,  of Sales Management Workshop, I look back at the topics that can help the sales manager lead their team to those exceptional results.

In this podcast, we focus on leadership, planning, hiring, on boarding, and coaching.

Build your support system.  If you need a coach for yourself, get one.

Don’t be afraid to make changes.  If it isn't working, don’t wait seek out answers and try something different.  If it’s going good, think about how you can make it great.

Strategic Planning - have a plan for your team to follow

Hiring - As the sales manager, have a hiring process that insures you get the players you need to make your team a winner.

On boarding - get them started the right way and reduce incompetence, turnover, and waisted time and money because you didn’t get them started properly.

Be a coach - help them to develop and grow and you’ll become a superstar.
