Ms. Elena Herrada visits The Context of White Supremacy. Ms. Herrada is a non-white, non-black female - "Latina." She is an elected representative of the Detroit School Board and an activist with Detroiters Resisting Emergency Management. In September of this year, she was a guest on Leid Stories talk radio and delivered unflinching commentary on the White view of black people: "I never understood the deep, deep rooted contempt that White people have for black people until I was a member of the school board.
