Mr. Steve Silverman returns to The Context of White Supremacy. Mr. Silverman is the founder and executive director of Flex Your Rights. This 501(c)(3) non-profit was created to provide accessible know-your-rights information and improve the constitutional literacy of all Americans. In July 2010 we discussed Mr. Silverman's immensely popular and informative documentary films: BUSTED: The Citizenâ??s Guide to Surviving Police Encounters & 10 Rules For Dealing With Police. With the unending spate of black citizens being bludgeoned, choked, pummeled and murdered by enforcement officers, we thought it would be timely to have Mr. Silverman give us a refresher on how to survive police encounters without creating new problems or losing a life or limb.
