The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 9th study session on Melba Pattillo Beals' intense autobiography, Warriors Don't Cry: A Searing Memoir of the Battle to Integrate Little Rock's Central High (1995). We're nearing the end of the text, as the Little Rock 9 come to the end of the 1958 school term. "Psychological experts" trained the Racist White pupils to maximize the impact of the terrorism they focused on the eight remaining black scholars. We'll continue to monitor the character known as "Link" - a pseudonym for a White male with a dating (sexual) interest in Melba. We'll also remain alert for the influence of White Jesus/Christianity and the use of the term fair. As Melba did not return to Central High the following school year, these marked her final days at the school.
