June 24, 2015

Today, my very special guest is Nancy Hartwell, who will speak on the topic of human trafficking and what we can do about it.

Nancy Hartwell grew up in Tampa, Florida, and earned a degree in international relations from American U in Washington, DC. She married a prominent attorney from Cameroon, where she lived and worked for more than 14 years.

Upon her return to the US she wrote for The Washington Post on Capitol Hill for 7 years, and became lead proposal writer for an international development consulting firm. She has traveled to 44 countries and speaks more than a dozen languages.

She has had radio plays produced by the BBC and by ORTF (France). The flagship book in her Human Trafficking Series, Harem Slave, has won an award and reached number 7 in All Fiction on Amazon -- nearly 3 million titles. Books 2 and 3, Prince Ibrahim's Favorite and Voices from the Harem, are also best-sellers.

She is an internationally recognized authority on human trafficking (nearly 400 radio interviews across the country and internationally). She is currently hard at work on a screenplay
