Today marks the 98th anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima's appearance to 3 shepherd children, in Fatima, Porgugal.    Our Lady appeared in a field conversing with the children, revealing visions of events to come.

On October 13, 1917, she disclosed 3 secrets.  The first was that The Great War would soon end.  The second secret of Fatima, was that if Mankind did not repent, and ask Go's forgiveness, another war would come along, more destructive than the first.

The Third Secret of Fatima, was to be revealed in 1960.  Apparently, Pius the XII was so horified by its' content, he sealed the secret.

Speculation has raged ever since.  What did the Lady of Fatima reveal?  She had shown a vision of hell to the children, letting them know it is real, though many deny its' existence.

In 2007,  the Vatican rleased a statemnt that the Third Secret of Fatima had been revealed, when John Paul II was almost assassinated.  The bullet just missed his aorta.  He attributed this close call, this miracle, to Our Lady of Fatima.

But, is that really the true Third Secret of Fatima?  Or is it, as rumored, that the real contents contain this prophecy of the future in Rome:  The pope will flee the Eternal City, stepping over the dead bodies of many clery, priest an nuns.

t is a Catholic custom to say a rosary each day in May to Our Lady of Fatima.  Our Lady has stated, "Every problem on earth can be solved with the rosary."  Our Lady gve the rosary to St. Dominic, att Mt. Carmel in the Middle Ages.  

The rosary is a poweful weapon.
