The London Day School® (LDS) was founded by husband and wife team Danielle & Steven Lindner, PhD at a time when many people would not have been brave enough to start a new business. In 2008 the United States had been hit by the country’s worst recession in history and yet, Ms. Lindner saw a market need for something not currently offered in the childcare industry. After much discussion, investigation into current offerings and input from Steven, an Organizational Psychologist, they began the process of disrupting the landscape of early childhood education, by creating The London Day School.

As working parents of two, Danielle and Steven struggled to find an early education program that not only offered the nurturing and loving environment they wanted for their children, but also a balanced educational program that challenged, engaged, excited and enriched young learners on a daily basis. Danielle, leveraged her 17 years in the education industry, as well as Steven’s business acumen and background in psychology, to create what is now The London Day School.

When most companies had stopped hiring, Danielle and Steven were creating jobs for educators in their community.

In May of 2013, Ms. Lindner published the first book in her Miss Danielle’s Preschoolbuds® Series. The Preschoolbuds books are dedicated to character education. These books are the anchor for Miss Danielle’s Preschoolbuds® Character Education Program.

London Day School has become a name synonymous with educational enrichment. London Day School is considered one of the most desirable programs by parents for their child’s early childhood education. The London Day School consistently achieves the highest ratings and accolades from parents and alumni families and delivers a strong economic return. Both Danielle and Steven have been recognized by their peers as top in their fields. Steven Lindner was selected as both an HR Superstar and Winner of the 40 Under 40 excellence in business award. In April of 2015, Danielle was named a New Jersey Leading Business Woman and Entrepreneur, and in September, 2015 she was named one of the Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs in the state, further demonstrating the exceptional program created by Ms. Lindner. She also was honored by The Boy Scouts of America at their Tribute to Women Celebration for her contributions to the youth in her community.

Both Steven and Danielle are featured in nationally syndicated radio programs and publications such as The Huffington Post, Reader’s Digest, CNBC, Forbes, NY Metro Parent, Money Magazine, The Wall St. Journal and The NY Daily News.
Danielle also can be seen in her Television Program, Miss Danielle’s Preschoolbuds®, which is streamed internationally on Amazon Prime and aired on the Children’s Television Network.
