Welcome to Episode 174 of Observed Tech. This show is our big follow up to all of the Microsoft news out of their New York City hardware event last week. We learned more about HoloLens, Microsoft Band 2, Lumia 550, 950 and 950 XL, the Surface Pro 4 and some new accessories. The big surprise of the event was the Surface Book which seemed to have caught the tech world off guard. While I was in NYC I got to attend the big #Windows10Devices Fan Party and was able to get some hands on time with the new hardware so I talk about that as well. Finally, there is a new build of Windows 10 for Insiders, 10565, this week which brings fit and finish as Threshold 2 moves towards release.
