We begin speaking with Grant Stuart, owner of The Bean Blossom Blues Festival. The Bean is a Music On The Couch festival Partner.  We’ll review the lineup and talk about the other activities throughout the weekend.

Then Couch Kid Bob Corritore returns along with Big Jon Atkinson to talk about their album, House Party At Big Jon’s.

Then I will spend time with Jon talking about his life and musical journey. We’ll find out how the Tennessee native ended up in California playing with folks like Nathan James and Kim Wilson. 

John Long has been sharing his Blues talent since the early 70’s when he found himself in Chicago. It took until 2006 for him to get a national album release and it immediately got him noticed with a BMA nomination.  What has the road been like since then?  We’ll find out along with listening to music from the new album, Stand Your Ground.

Finally, we speak with Helen Turner and Iain Black formally of Bare Bones Boogie Band, now leading Born Healer. Their debut album, ‘Til The Dawn, proves their Blues pedigree once again.
