Carmen is a USA Marine Veteran, a Retired School Teacher and a Champion Weightlifter for 59 years. It's my pleasure to welcome Joe Caputo to the Motivation and Muscle Family and introduce Carmen Son to our listening audience! Joe was born and raised in Oklahoma. At 32, I've been lifting weights now for 20 years thanks to my parents' input and support. I have an MA in Eastern Classics, and currently, work for a local community college as an administrative assistant. Well, today is your day everyone! I love doing Father and Sons Podcasts for a number of reasons but the one thing which always stands front and center is we don't have enough of these stories about strong Fathers and Sons! Carmen is Family and he's been with me and M&M for over three years now with each show getting better and better every time we meet! Today is even bigger than ever because Carmen's son Joe has joined the Family and were going soon to learn that like a Father of Strength the Son is never far behind. We trace back to Joe's recollection of when he first discovered weights via watching Carmen in action. The evolution of Joe into the strength world was nothing short of already being written in stone long before he even put his hands around an Olympic Bar.
