Funcom restructures Montreal branch, keeps games operational
- “We are currently in a restructuring process and the Montreal office is part of that process along with our other branches.
- This process unfortunately involves a reduction in staff, but the studio will not be closing down.
- Anarchy Online, as well as The Secret World and Age of Conan, will continue to operate
- He said that the studio would provide more details when it had finished with the process.
- Veteran Rewards and Shared Outfit Purchases coming to accounts of The Secret World.
MechWarrior Tactics Founder’s Program Announcement
- The game is a free to play browser game being developed by Roadhouse Interactive and Infinite Game Publishing.
- The game plays a lot like Heroscape or Warhammer 40k tabletop games.
- You can gain close beta access if you purchase one of the Founder’s Packages at 25$, 60$, 100$, and get a slew of in game currency and limited edition mech stuff!
- All bonuses will be unlocked on Open Beta, currently planned for later this year.

- Shadowrun Returns brings back one of our most original & cherished game settings as a 2D turn-based RPG with an emphasis on storytelling and tactical combat.
- Based on Snes and Genesis games but with updated art.
- Over 30 character skills and abilities are in the game and working.
- Stuff like etiquette, snapshot, conjuring, decking, rigging, spirit summoning, and spell casting are in and working.
- All these systems are using “programmer art†so they’re. . . not pretty. But they prove the systems, can be tested, bug-fixed, and iterated upon before they spend the time prettifying them.
- It’s got bugs but it’s starting to feel like Shadowrun.
