Nnamdi Nwauwa, EMT, CCEMTP, EMS instr/Ass, MBBS, MPH, MMSCEM, innovated EMS care by implementing programs to bring paramedic training to the country of Nigeria for the first time. He chats with Jamie Davis, the Podmedic about the challenges faced in his country including the lack of Good Samaritan Laws to assist in getting bystanders to provide basic care or even call emergency services in the first place. Nigeria now has the beginnings of an EMS program for the first time because of his efforts.
