My guest this week is Kevin Gordon.  Kevin talks about his masters degree in poetry, his early singing career and his latest album, Gloryland (2012), which has received critical acclaim. Kevin has had songs recorded by Irma Thomas, Keith Richards and Levon Helm and his songs have been used in movies and the hit HBO series “True Blood”. Rolling Stone Magazine called him a juke-joint professor emeritus. I think I agree.
