The Golden Globes 2013 are now over and the critiquing of the fashions seems to be over -- but not really. People are still looking at those celebrities and thinking "can I wear that dress" or "how do I wear that eye shadow or lipstick".
This is a series of reviews of women who walked the red carpet that caught our eye here at LA-Story.com in either a positive or negative way.
Fashion Designer Karen Starr DelloIacono and I selected Olympic Gymnast Gabby Douglas and Modern Family's Ariel Winter for Golden Globes 2013 Celebrity Style Slam #1
Ariel Winter of Modern Family walks the red carpet as the 14 year old actress that she is.
Celebrity Style Slam Podcast with Karen Starr DelloIacono and Stevie Wilson:
Gabby Douglass: Olympic Gold Medal Winner, Gymnastics!
Karen Starr DelloIacono: 5 stars
Stevie Wilson: 5 stars
Final Rating: 5 star
Gabby Douglas -- no matter that she's not an actress! Her calling card is her amazing wins at the London Olympic Games this past summer and snatching gold in so many gymnastic events, it's hard NOT to recognize that fabulous smile. Paired with great hair and makeup, Gabby had the potential to look fabulous.
Karen Starr DelloIacono: 1 stars
Stevie Wilson: 2 stars
Final Rating: 1.5 star
While we love Ariel Winter, we adore Gabby Douglass and wish that we could have given her a higher score. However her dress was the wrong color and poorly fitted and she would have been more comfortable in a different dress in a more fitted style in a better color and different shoes!
Thanks to Karen Starr DelloIacono who was of tremendous help on this!!
