The Gophers football team is all the rage in Minnesota, but it's not for the right reasons. A sexual-assault case has rocked the University, and the fallout could be epic. Who's at fault? When and why did this happen? And what can be done in the future to curb this activity from happening (if that's even possible)?

In a different kind of scandal, Wake Forest fires their Play-by-Play guy, Tommy Elrod, after finding out that he had been supplying various teams with Wake Forest's playbook. Apparently, Tommy wasn't too pleased with not being retained on the new Wake Forest coaching staff, and thought he'd get deserved payback by throwing the new regime under the bus. When are people going to learn that this stuff always gets found out?

And Adrian Peterson is back! After undergoing surgery, Sept. 22nd to repair a right lateral meniscus tear, AP is ready to don the Purple and Gold Sunday against Andrew Luck & Co. He's obviously genetically superior to all of us, but behind that decimated offensive line, I'm hoping he can survive. He needs to thrive, so the Vikes can stay in the playoff hunt. 

Also, it's Week 15 in the NFL, and it's officially gotten crazy! The aforementioned Vikes and Colts, the Packers go to Soldier Field to play the Bears, and the Grand-daddy of them all, the Broncos travel to Foxborough to take on Tom Brady and the Patriots. HUGE !
