Congrats to Lamar Jackson, the youngest to win the Heisman. But college football should just say the Heisman is for QB's, so our intellect won't be insulted. Jabrill Peppers finished 5th in the voting, which says everything about what the Heisman is about. But I digress..

Army finally gets off the snide! After 14 years of getting their ass handed to them, Army finally returns the favor in a thumping of Navy. Being that I'm an Army vet, this actually feels  pretty good.

Also, the Vikes need to win out to make the playoffs, and if they do,  Adrian Peterson will join them on the quest for the Super Bowl. But Pederson says he'll only play if the Vikings are in playoff contention, which begs the question, "If he's healthy and under contract, shouldn't he play?"

 And the Chiefs beat the Raiders on Thursday night.   Not only did David Carr lose the MVP, but the Raiders go from a #1 seed to a #5 seed. And from the looks of it Thursday night, the Raiders might have a tough time playing in cold weather. 

 Also, London gets another NFL game, and I'll tell you why it makes no sense. And let's take a look at the bowl games, and see if you recognize some of the teams or the names of the bowl games. It's actually pretty ridiculous.
