It's been a while, Chicago. 71 years, to be exact, as the Cubs are finally back in the World Series to face the Indians. The way both these teams are playing, it should be a good series. Go Indians! 

All of a sudden, that Gopher loss to Penn St. doesn't look so bad. Ohio St. loses a shocker in Happy Valley. Forget all my bluster about the Buckeyes being better than 'Bama. My bad.

Also, 1,708 combined yards for Oklahoma and Texas Tech. Aside from setting a record for most yards, know what these teams will never achieve? A National Championship. Bob Stoops should have been fired on the tarmac, a la, Lane Kiffen.

Week 7 in the NFL, and the marquee matchup between the Patriots and the Steelers has lost its shine with Big Ben down, but never fear, the Vikings/Eagles and the Seahawks/Cardinals should more than make up for it. All of you thinking the Eagles have a chance, you best think again. Vikes roll (SKOL!
