The Irish Impact Podcast – Episode 24 – They Couldn’t Wait to Fire Kiffin?

October 16, 2013

2001. The last time a Notre Dame team has beaten USC, at Notre Dame Stadium. 12 years ago. Since that win, Notre Dame has hired 4 head coaches and lost to Navy three times. The good news? The Irish have won 2 out of the last 3 against our heated rivals who come in staggered after Lane Kiffin was fired a few weeks ago. Throw out the records folks, this game is always a dandy, and it will kickoff under the lights Saturday night in South Bend!

Thanks to everyone who nominated our show for the Podcast Awards! Stay tuned to see if Irish Impact makes it to the finals!

In this week's show:
No Patrick this week but we welcome in an old friend of the show. Ryan Ritter from HerLoyalSons.com stops by this episode to give us his always great Irish insight.

Tommy Rees was having a great game, and then.....

The running game has shown up in back to back weeks.

We got an email from Sean in Kansas regarding the stadium atmosphere...in Jerryworld.

We look ahead to this week's game against USC, who come in off a win vs Arizona but with a new head coach.
