PODCAST SCRIPT:

When family issues bring you to the end of your rope… if you’re worn out, spent and overwhelmed… you might be tempted to shut down or escape.  Know the feeling?

Psalm 55 talks about getting release from stress.  The writer said, “Oh, that I had the wings of a dove!  I would fly away and be at rest.â€

Moms and Dads of teenagers know that feeling all too well.  At times, we wanna escape!  But in moments of exhaustion, pray for calmness.  Ask God to keep your emotions from running wild.  Pray that He would guide and direct your teen… and your marriage… as only He can.  Then pray that God will love your family through you.

These are simple words.  But they’ll bring refreshment from the only source that provides lasting peace!
