www.GoodMorningGwinnett.com A Duluth resident and veteran educator who is the mother of five children is the latest candidate to jump into the growing Republican field of candidates running for the 7th Congressional District seat.

Lerah Lee recently kickoff her campaign with an event at The Lodge at W.P. Jones Memorial Park in Duluth. In a campaign announcement, she said she is running to represent the core value of residents in the district as well a "growing network of vocal supporters seeking a change."

The 7th congressional District seat will be open in 2020 due to U.S. Rob Woodall's, R-Ga., decision to not seek another term in office. Several Republicans and Democrats have been jumping into race since Woodall announced his plans.
