What is a Pathtag?

Design your own.
- PC – Paint.net – Free with a lot of graphic options
Like any application there is some learning curve.
It is not as difficult as it first appears
A few practice trys and you can venture into more and more advanced ideas to try.
- PC – Tag Editor – http://www.pathtags.com/design.php on the design page.

Have somebody design it for me.

Time To Get Your Graphics Hat On
JPG Template - get from the above mentioned design.php page
save as blanktag.jpg

Bring up your favorite graphics application

Load Blanktag.jpg into your program

Graphics Off The Internet

Beware of Copyright protection
The better resolution graphic you use the more you can work with it and also the better detail you can pull from it.

Graphic Concepts To Consider

*Bigger is better but it all has to shrink down to the size of a quarter*

Layers - Are like the old transparencies projectors. Clear plastic sheets.
You can place multiples on top of each other to complete a full graphic.
Layer Types
Background - Bottom of the pile

Layer Properties - 10,000 foot level
Name
Visible
Blending Mode
Opacity

Basic-Basics

Undo - CTRL Z
Redo - CTRL Y
Cut - CTRL X
Paste - CTRL V
Paste into New Layer - easy way to move around your graphics without overlaying onto an existing layer

Text - Adding words and such to your graphic
creates it’s own layer automatically
Add ons to do different things like special text types, circle text, flaming text, etc.
