JoGPS (Joe Armstrong) passed away at home over this past weekend. He was a legend of caching. Some of his caching achievements include being the father of Geowoodstock and he adopted a number of the APE Caches to keep them going. Traveling to a number of places including Brazil to make sure the caches were still intact and making repairs or container replacements as needed.

Project Geocaching is a site with the goal to provide dynamically generated statistics as well as maps and tools for all the geocachers in the world. It uses the Groundspeak Geocaching Live API and requires you to authenticate with your Geocaching.com account.
GPS Visualizer
An online utility that creates maps and profiles from geographic data. It is free and easy to use, yet powerful and extremely customizable. Input can be in the form of GPS data (tracks and waypoints), driving routes, street addresses, or simple coordinates.
