The new Browns regime is finding that its not as easy to hire a new coach as they originally thought. After missing out last week on their top 3 choices, the Haslam/Banner team is parading lots of 2nd tier candidates into Berea in the hopes of finding their man.

1Q: Browns coaching search misfires out of the gate
- Chip Kelly pulled the football out from Charlie Brown for the 2nd year in a row. Last year, it was Tampa. This year, Cleveland, Philly and Buffalo fell victim to Kelly’s game.
- Penn State Coach Bill O’Brien went back to the Nittany Lions.
- Syracuse Coach Doug Marrone was snagged by Buffalo.
- Nick Saban won’t leave Alabama.
2Q: Will the Browns fall in love with a coach?
- After missing out on their first group of candidates, can they find someone that fits all of the criteria they laid out for a new coach? (“a strong leader, who’s tough because this is a tough business, but also is smart, very organized, has great attention to detail and is aggressiveâ€)
- Now we’re talking to CFL Coach Marc Trestman, CAR OC Rob Chudzinski, CIN DC Mike Zimmer, and a host of others.

- (3) Texans at (2) Patriots
- A rematch of earlier blowout in the regular season
- Houston peaked too early and lacks confidence now
- NE is a much stronger foe than the Bengals
- Mike & Tom pick New England to repeat their dominance over Houston
- (4) Ravens at (1) Broncos
- We just can’t root for Baltimore
- But the Broncos are too strong this year anyway and are clearly the better team
- Mike & Tom pick Denver
4Q: NFC Divisional Playoff round
- (3) Packers at (2) 49ers
- Will the Packers get a discount double check?
- Mike and Tom like Green Bay
- (5) Seahawks at (1) Falcons
- Can Atlanta overcome their early exits in the playoffs of late?
- Can Seattle win two on the road on the East Coast?
- Tom likes Seattle to keep Atlanta on a playoff losing streak.
- Mike thinks Atlanta wants to prove its critics wrong
