Out of the Fog: Zero to Zen with Jessica Improta

November 29, 2016

We know spiritual practice is essential for deepening our connection to the Divine. But we're all busy, all distracted. How can "real people" create a sustainable spiritual practice? Therapist, coach, and meditation teacher Jessica Improta believes that connecting with inner peace begins with an understanding and acceptance of all that we are. She'll share tools for living your best life, and for reaching the inner peace that supports us throughout our journey.

Jessica Improta is a licensed psychotherapist, lifestyle strategist, and founder of OM*Lab, a virtual playground for accessible happiness. Jessica provides workshops and education on mindfulness, stress reduction, and tools for better living, approaching topics with a sense of humor and irreverence. Jessica focuses on the inner game of life, encouraging clients to explore vulnerability, adjust their mindset and pursue their unique vision for their life.

Jessica received her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton University, and then adjusted course to live and work in NYC, a longtime dream. Leveraging a natural compassion and interest in personal development since a young age, Jessica moved back to LA and to pursue her master's degree from UCLA and become a licensed psychotherapist, providing psychotherapy to individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, and depression, children in foster care, and sexual assault victims. Find out more about Jessica and her work at theomlab.com.
