In this Episode we have a chat with Dan Lehr, the Co-Owner of Caffeine and Kilos and owner of Excel CrossFit.   This episode is all killer and no filler and we discuss starting and business and building a brand with a guy doing it the right way.  Bottom line is that you need to get shit done.
After hearing about the benefits of CrossFit from a friend, Danny decided to give it a try. After the first workout, he was instantly hooked. The results were undeniable and the daily challenge was exciting. Having a background in fitness and athletic training, Danny decided to pursue his love of fitness by becoming a CrossFit certified coach at CrossFit Excel.
Danny is currently a physical education teacher at East Union High School in Manteca, CA. He has spent time coaching various sports including wrestling, track, football, and swimming. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Masters of Education with an emphasis in Cross Cultural Teaching. Danny is a certified fitness trainer by the American Council on Exercise. He also holds his CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Running/Endurance, CrossFit Football, CrossFit Coaches Prep Course, and USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance certifications. Danny strives to stay knowledgeable and up to date by attending certifications and seminars inside and outside the CrossFit community.
Danny is a huge believer in using the work capacity gained at the gym in everyday life. During his spare time Danny enjoys hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, golfing and just about every activity that takes place outside. Danny’s favorite part of being a CrossFit coach is seeing the results and positive impact on everyday life.
