John Weagly’s short crime fiction has been nominated for the Derringer Award 5 times, winning one in 2008, and has been nominated for a Spinetingler Award. As a playwright, his short plays have received over 100 productions by theaters around the world.

Carmen Jaramillo is a Minnesota born-and-raised amateur writer. Her short fiction has appeared at Flash Fiction Offensive, Crime Factory Magazine, Shotgun Honey, and forthcoming in Akashic Books’ “Mondays are Murder web series.” She is slashing-and-burning her way through a novel.

Growing up on the mean streets of suburban Illinois prepared Josh K Stevens for the pulp genre. While he has been published in several zines, websites, and has a non-fiction piece in an anthology, His premiere work, Bullets are my Business, was published as an e-reader exclusive in 2012 and his sophomore work, Scratch the Surface is available now. The final two books from the Deuce Walsh Trilogy, will be available on July 28 and October 28.
