Schell’s Brewery in New Ulm, Minnesota was voted the best craft brewery in Minnesota by Minnesotans. They have been around the longest, way before the resurgence of craft brewing, and they keep on innovating. In this BeerGuysTV BrewCast, we sample from Schell’s Cave-Aged Barrel-Aged Series. This is recipe No. 4 and it’s a Baltic Porter. From their description “this batch was aged in bourbon barrels from Four Roses distillery and has hints of sweet caramel, oak, and vanilla.” That may not match our description, or it may, but one thing is for sure, you’ll have to listen (or watch) this BrewCast to find out.
