M.O.M is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization that strives to provide various services to single parent homes as well as provide shelter and assistance to reach out to homeless mothers and their children.  We strive to meet needs far more than just shelter & charity. These mothers are often victims of several forms of abuse, by a spouse or partner, displacement,  or loss of employment . 

These families are all struggling against poverty for one reason or another.  In addition to needing stable & safe shelter, to transition successfully out of homelessness and poverty, homeless mothers and their children need a wide range of support services to address their mental and physical health. The mothers often need addiction treatment, psychological counseling, job training, childcare and eventual job placement assistance.  For more information: http://www.momincfl.org/

Mothers of Minors is competing in the Local Charity Category of the 2015 Safety Harbor Downtown Business Alliance, Inc. Charity Fundraising Challenge. They appreciate the consideration of all of the SHDBA, Inc.
