This podcast is based on a thought that occurred to me a couple nights ago and it’s been stirring about in my head. I’m sure it doesn’t hold up under close scrutiny. I’m sure ppl who actually believe in this stuff have all kinds of Quran quotes or apologetix or other sleight of hand that makes all this sound far more legitimate than I give credit. I’m trying to give the benefit of a doubt here.

Let’s assume for about thirteen minutes that I’m wrong and, if you’re a Believer of One True Gods, you’re right. There is a One True God and it’s everything you hope it will be. However, this One True God also has to be everything that everybody else who believes hopes it will be. And I mean everybody. One god. Billions of souls. Somehow he makes it work. Of course he does. I mean, he’s god, right? But what are the ramifications of your beliefs? Are you really ready for this? Can you honestly take this seriously after I give in to your presumptions for just thirteen minutes? ..give or take. I wasn’t timing myself.

What’s a Houri? Well a houri is one of the seventy-two virgins that Muslim suicide bombers and terrorists think they get from their god with whom to spend eternity. Let’s spend thirteen minutes with them, and see how they like this One True God idea.
