Lincoln is a film directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Daniel Day-Lewis. The snyopsis is: as the Civil War continues to rage, America’s president struggles with continuing carnage on the battlefield and as he fights with many inside his own cabinet on the decision to emancipate the slaves.


Patriocracy is a documentary and explores the extreme polarization in America that cripples the country from tackling its most serious problems. Whether it’s the national debt, healthcare reform, the war on terror or illegal immigration, Americans are shouting at each other instead of listening to each other. (Streaming on Netflix)


The Weather Underground is a 2002 documentary film based on the rise and fall of the American radical organization The Weathermen. Using much archive footage from the time as well as interviews with the Weathermen today, the film constructs a linear narrative of the militant organization (Streaming on Netflix)


Witness to Jonestown: Rare footage shot inside the People’s Temple give an insider’s look at the tragic Jonestown Masscare that occurred in Guyana in 1978. (Streaming on Netflix)
