The Great Unknowns Presents

Led by the evocative voice of Amélie Laflamme, the music of Montreal-based The Blue Seeds released their debut self-title album in 2009 with an ensemble of beautiful, yet almost gothic-like lyrics sung by Amélie with a wide musical range of guitar melodies from, Francois Dufault and Roger Miron, bassist Martin Farmer, Eric Rathe on keyboard and melodica, and Marc Chartain on drums. Amélie’s angelic and somber voice can easily be compared to the likes of Mazzy Star, Jewel, and Niko Case in one beautifully wrapped package of alternative-folk music.
