There are worse things in life other than living your twilight years under ObamaCare ™. And that would be living as a Muslim woman. There is no stick thick enough, no stone heavy enough, no insult great enough, and no suffering miserable enough for Islam not to inflict on its women.

The 7th Century Death Cult has a charmingly parochial way of speaking the international language of love to the fairer sex, and frequently it’s translation requires burqas, canings, stonings, or volunteer suicide bombings. The Hyacinth Girl posted an article linking to a UK Daily Mail story detailing yet another grisly – and completely unnecessary – death of a Muslim woman. Simply seeking some fun – yet condemned by her religion to the margins of her society – her attempt to ride a go-kart in the “modesty” of a burqa resulted in her getting carted out in a body bag after the garment got caught up in the vehicle’s wheels, resulting in her fatal strangulation. At least she reached the age of 24.

In Yemen, which for all intents and purposes could be on the dark side of the moon, a 13 year-old girl died after her sexual organs hemorrhaged following the consummation of her marriage five days earlier. The most disturbing aspect of the story – which Pamela Geller linked to at her blog Atlas Shrugs – was that, following the passage of a law banning marriages of women and men until the ages of 17 and 18 respectively, it was Yemeni WOMEN who protested AGAINST it.

Islam truly is the Religion of Peace ™ and, as Obama said, we must respect it.
