The first step in the Planning Stage of starting your business is checking your mindset before you build your foundation so you can succeed.  I call that the Priority Mindset.  The Priority Mindset is made up of four parts that are all finite resources that have to be budgeted and spent wisely each week!

The 4 finite resources that we need when planning to start a business:

1. Time Mindset – you only have so much time to spend on your goals!  In a day, a week or in life!
2. Money Mindset- you only have so much money to spend on your goals!
3. Creativity Mindset – you only have so much creativity to spend each week!
4. People Mindset – you only can get so much out of people… their time, their money, their expertise, their favor or support! There are only so many people you can surround yourself with before it impacts Time, Money and Creativity.

Each of these impacts the other.  Your current situation is a DIRECT result of how you have prioritized in the past in these areas.  Whatever you are doing now IS your priority. Can’t start a business?  Distracted by the barriers I discuss in earlier episodes?  You are prioritizing not to be in business!  Change your priorities to get what you want!  It is time to focus your TIME, MONEY, CREATIVITY and PEOPLE to do this… now… NOT LATER!
