In this hour of SomaCow, we report on the upcoming strike set to shake the nation to its very core. Doctors? Pilots? Please. We’re talking about Hollywood writers. It’s kind of terrifying to think that there are people that get paid to write, when you consider the fact that the last 200 movies to come out of Hollywood were either sequels, remakes, or big screen adaptations of bad eighties TV shows.

Time Magazine just learned about the lolcatz. Amazing. Wonder what they will discover next? L33T Speak? We discuss the downfall of dead tree media, as the Wall Freaking Street Journal is now linking Mickey’s Blog as a relevant source. Nothing against Mickey, he’s a brilliant chap. Just scary to think I am taking financial/software advice from a guy that buys $900 sunglasses and sends chain letter invitations to social networking sites.

Also discussed eating hot things cold, misleading commercials (There HAS to be coffee gum somewhere… find it for me, people!) annoying movie patrons, bad comic strips, and we cap off the hour discussing the 660 million dollar indulgences paid to Californians for Pope-Rape. That crazy Pope! When will he stop his zany, madcap kid-touching ways?
