Dan Gable to go ‘On the Mat’ this week

Dan Gable will go “On the Mat†this Wednesday, September 10.

“On the Mat” is a presentation of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum. The show can be heard live on the Internet at 1650thefan.com or locally in Northeast Iowa each Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Central on AM 1650, The Fan.

Gable coached the University of Iowa wrestling team to 15 NCAA team championships from 1977 to 1997. He also won the 1972 Munich Olympics without surrendering a point. Gable will discuss the 2014 World Championships.
