PRI: Selected Shorts

This program features explores the idea of “the private paradise” in stories by promising young writers. Also featured are humorist Dave Eggers hilarious tale of a suburban Dad explaining to his young daughter that he and Mom solved most of the world’s problems. “Your Mother and I” is read by the late David Rakoff. And in Barry Yourgrau’s “The Visit,” a traveler home for an awkward reunion finds a secret hiding place. The reader is James Naughton.
