Back in 2013, Mike from Rad Bear announced that he would begin working on solo, full-length rap album. A”Kickstarter” style campaign was launched and listeners contributed over $5,000 towards initial production and equipment needs. Since then, Mark has been working on his debut album titled “DIE [2013].”

Throughout the process of writing and recording 15 songs, Mirk learned a lot. Many finished songs were scrapped, deemed “not good enough” and thrown away, pushing the release date farther and further into the future.

With still no official release date for the full-length DIE album, Mart decided to release an entirely separate five-song EP titled “[Before Ya] DIE 2013.” A sampler platter of hits to hold everyone over.

THE DIE EP, is more along the lines of a “mix-tape” rather than a fully-polished studio album. Sort of like a 7″ record from a punk band. A great introduction to the DIE saga.
