At long last, the 12th Malaysian parliament is dissolved this afternoon. In the live telecast announcement, among others, PM Najib (who shall be addressed as ex-PM hereafter) expressed his full confidence in the professional conduct of the Election Commission in handling the mother of all elections.



 However, we know better the track-record of the EC, don’t we? Therefore, look out for our election cheats segment from tomorrow.

In an immediate response, Sarawak PKR chief Baru Bian reminds voters that their chance of a better future lies in them making a wise choice with the vote in their hands this time.

Wild rumours about a deal between Anwar Ibrahim and SWP’s Datuk Sng are just that. Baru takes the bull by its horn in an interview where he denied any agreement to work with SWP and vouched for the credibility of the party’s potential candidate Nicholas Bawin who was rumoured to be ‘bought’ by SWP.

Another potential candidate, Joshua Jabeng of Selangau, a seat that is eyed by SWP vows to soldier on and square-off with Datuk Sng who is tipped to lead the charge.

DAP’s special 14-point plan for the Indians is not only in line with Pakatan Rakyat’s plan to ease the minority community plight but it will be applicable to all the other races that face similar challenges such as the issue of statelessness troubling the Dayak society.
