Welcome to Episode 153 – our end of year special.

Once again we have arrived at the end of another year. It seems like it was just a few years ago that we were entering the Millennium and now it is 2015!

Many things happened in the past 12 months and we have seen a lot change in the world of tech especially at Microsoft who we keep a close eye on.

New hardware, services, operating systems, cross platform efforts and an update pace that has our heads spinning at times.  Some of this has been great but some has been frustrating such as bad upgrades several times this year that break other software and the continued struggle of the Windows Phone ecosystem to move forward in both market share and the apps market.

This show looks over many of those items and some others plus takes a quick peek into 2015 and things that are on the horizon.

One of those things coming up in 2015, which I mention in the show, is the 20th anniversary of WindowsObserver.

It all started back in August of 1995 around the time Windows 95 was released and that first version of what has now become WindowsObserver was started on GeoCities. It was called Another Windows 95 Links and Resources Page and I still remember its URL – www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Heights/1094.

Such great memories over the last 20 years of doing this site and meeting so many awesome people along the way.

Have a great 2015 and thanks for listening to Observed Tech and being a visitor to WindowsObserver.com
